James Wood Discography
James has been working in the music industry since 2005, where he started out as an aspiring battle rap artist. In his early days, he started teaching himself different DAW programs and produced and engineered his own music with a group of his closest friends in Fredericksburg, VA.
To shift working in the industry full time, in 2008, he moved to Florida and he began working in local studios as a recording engineer. This drove his passion to build his client list and expand to launch his own studio, Executive Studios, in 2013.
He's gained a reputation as one of the most talented engineers in Tampa Bay and in the state of Florida, has gotten his foot in the door with other well-known recording studios in major music markets across the country, super producers, labels, labeled artists, and has secured his first gold plaque with a major labeled artist.
Below, you will see some of the placements and accomplishments that James has received in the 14 years that he has been working in this industry...
Executive Studios received its first gold plaque on February 6th, 2019 for James Wood's work on Kevin Gates' Mixtape "By Any Means". We are the first Tampa Bay recording studio in 10 years to receive a plaque in the hip hop genre.
